Lets talk about that uncomfortable subject... The Fix. Hillary Clinton is starting to look like a lock. Yeah, yeah, Iowa, Edwards is awesome, Obama is black, Gore is going to win the Nobel Prize, bla bla bla. Two words: People love Bill Clinton and his wife has a shit load of money and people are mindless! Now maybe Obama will wake up out of his self induced "I'm a uniter" coma, its a long shot but maybe. But even if he does its not going to matter for the primaries in NY State. Hillary has this place locked up! Which means, you, communist America-hating liburl Democratic voter, actually have a unique opportunity! You can still push a decent candidate into the presidential election. And you can totally screw Rudy Giuliani at the same time! switch your registration to... bleee.. aaack... (swallow the barf! swallow the barf!)... the GOP! And then you can vote for Ron Paul in the GOP Primary!

But you must act NOW! The NY State Deadline to change party in time for the Republican Presidential Primary is Oct 12th. That's tomorrow!

Not convinced this is a good idea? Here, let a hot chick tell you about it:

Dem party loyalty? - bah - worthless, no matter what Markos Zuniga says. Register to have a Hillary alternative today.

I, for instance, have just moved to NYC and haven't yet determined whether my vote would best go to Ron Paul or Mike Gravel. Since the only contested election for me is for a court in Brooklyn between two democratic backed candidates, I have decided to wait until January 11 to register to vote in NY and declare a party affiliation at said date, closer to the primary, where I will be able to choose where my vote would best go.

Are you sure that is early enough to vote in the primary? Some states require you to register months before hand. The earliest I know of is October 15th.

Deadline 10/12/2007

New York and New Hampshire are trying to close up registration early. You only have until 10/12/2007 to register as a Republican if you want to vote for Ron Paul, so if you're waiting until January 11th, you've already blown it.

The above sites tell you how to register if you are in New York or New Hampshire.

Here is the link to look up your state and see if you have an "OPEN" primary where you can simply show up and vote in the Republican primary. If you are in a state with a "Closed" primary, then simply change to Republican and then Vote for Ron Paul.

"Here's a link to her vanity site." True enough, but vanity means NOT paid. And if you read anything about her, you will know that she is serious about Ron Paul. LOL, you really think Ron Paul would pay for an ad negative about other candidates? He's not like that. But I AM, and I'm glad she did it.

And people MUST register to vote Republican in the primary BY tomorrow, October 12th, AND vote for Ron Paul in the primary, or they will be stuck with that EVIL warmonger Clinton, who voted for the war in Iraq and keeps on supporting it! I'm a woman, too, and I will do all in my power to defeat this life-sucking B----.

Mike Gravel for sure

Mike gravel for sure. He's pragmatic, courageous and honest.
He also had the balls to end the draft and read the Pentagon Papers into the Senate Record.

"Stop and think!"

Ron Paul can stop the insanity!

by , Friday Oct 12, 2007 [05:10 AM]
It is time to stop the insanity now! Again, the dems and the repubs both wear the same glove and have the same objectives and that is NO LIBERTIES or FREEDOMS. The ONLY candidate that wants us all to be able to live our free individual lives is Ron Paul and he has voted this way since the beginning of his yrs as a 10 term congressman. He speaks the truth. He is the only one who brings together all americans from across the false-labeled party lines. Vote and register to vote for Ron Paul for the good of all freedom loving , peace loving american brothers and sisters. Thank You.

Mike Gravel is better

by , Friday Oct 12, 2007 [06:31 AM]
Gravel is anti-war and he's also pro-choice. On the other hand Ron Paul is anti-war but is pro-life. So I guess it depends on whether you think that's a good thing or not.

Ron's pro-life but he's not going to shove his belief down your throats through the court system. It doesn't matter that he's pro-life. He's for gov staying out of your business. CAPICE!!!! Mike Gravel is for World Government. Having a Carbon tax on the air you breath and how many kids you have etc. He's unelectable.

He's pro-life but he does not believe the federal govt has a role in any decisions regarding that issue. Let the states decide.

Mike Gravel is not better

by , Friday Oct 12, 2007 [07:04 AM]
Ron Paul is for leaving pro-life/pro-choice up to YOU and YOUR STATE.

Ron Paul is for fixing our economy, the only way it can be done, via the constitution. Mike Gravel is not.

Bang for your vote

by , Friday Oct 12, 2007 [07:09 AM]
Gravel is a true American hero. Ask yourself, can Gravel carry New York? I think Ron Paul might do just that. Many New Yorkers despise Giuliani. The Republican pro-war vote is split at least three ways. Think about it. But don't think about it too long. Oct 12 is the last day to register Republican.

HTTP://WINWIN08.ORG is the original (and not-for-profit) source. It has everything you need to know on the first page you see. Make it a win-win presidential election in 2008, register Republican and vote Ron Paul.

This Is The Day

by , Friday Oct 12, 2007 [11:16 AM]
New Yorkers and New Hampshire-ites (New Hampshireians?), this is it, today is the day, the last day, to register to vote for freedom. Register Republican today, so you can vote for Ron Paul (you can switch back and vote for Hillary in the general if you change your mind).

To those worried about his pro-life position, in New York, and a plurality of the other states, his stated policy of leaving abortion regulation up to the people of the states means that you will be living in a state where a right to an abortion at any point will likely be enshrined in the state constitution. Reason enough to vote for the only anti-war, pro-constitution candidate - Ron Paul

Man Faded

Forget life's social issues. They will always be with us. The real issues are "LIBERTY" and individual "FREEDOM" That said, a vote for any other than Ron Paul is a vote of anti Americanism.

Yeah, she's hot, but...

She's also 100% correct. A rarity these days. Science bless the internet.

I like Gravel. I don't think he's that bad, but to think he's electable is lunacy. No direspect to Mike intended, but at least Ron Paul has an outside shot and real fundraising. I only say outside shot because his life is on the line. If he wins the GOP nomination, I hope he invests my campaign contribution on a bullet proof vest. The CFR isn't going to take him lightly at that point. I fear for his safety.

Strategy

by , Friday Oct 12, 2007 [08:09 PM]
I'm not going to argue about the value of strategic voting, but this is somewhat dubious as a voting strategy, given that Gulianani leads New York in the Republican primary to about the same degree as Clinton does in the Democratic. See here:

http://www.pollster.com/08-NY-Rep-Pres-Primary.php
http://www.pollster.com/08-NY-Dem-Pres-Primary.php

Also, keep in mind that party registration statistics send a message to candidates in and of themselves. In this election, you would do better to register green, libertarian, independence, etc., than to register big-party just to vote in the primary.

Failed Strategy

by , Friday Oct 12, 2007 [10:27 PM]
Party registration may send a message, but so would an enormous vote total for Ron Paul in Rudi's home state. His lock is only as solid as his grasp of foreign affairs and economics - and anyone who has watched the debates knows how tenuous that is.

Register republican, get Ron the nomination, then change back. That sends a pretty powerful message too. It shows the republicans they only have your support if they have folks like Ron Paul running for office.

Switching parties will leave out of the voting in February

by , Thursday Nov 29, 2007 [07:26 PM]
There is a one year wait to change party enrollment for purposes of voting in a primary elections.

A change in registration now will leave the voter unable to vote for anyone in the February primary.

NYS takes party enrollment seriously.
