Expanding Station Information, What Are Your Ideas?
With all the variety of information people seek about subway stations, it seems like it might be a good idea to add a feature to the subway map which would allow you to expand the view of each station info window, so that visitors can browse a whole page of information for each station.
Here is an example of what I mean:
It also seems to be a good idea to allow anyone to edit the content, since there is so much information to be gathered. Each station would basically have a wiki page of information that any registered user can edit. But before wiring this up and embarking on this project, it would be good to provide some guidelines and templates for everyone to use, so that all the pages could be similarly composed and styled from the start. But to do that I need some ideas about what might be good to go into the pages. I'm not looking for a definitive list, as things can be easily expanded, but some basics to start with. For example, we know many stations have different schedules, weekday, weekend, whatever (im not entirely sure actually and couldnt find any simply structured information at the MTA website). So some thoughts on how schedule information like that might be structured. And anything else that comes to mind. Please just throw ideas into the comments below.

We've Updated
You've probably noticed we've updated the subway map. It's been a lot of work. A more detailed review of whats new on the site is here. If you've are having a problem with the new version please post it to this thread. Make sure you list browser type and version, and instructions on how to recreate the problem.
NOTE, for map detail errors, like station errors and such please continue to use our Subway Map Issues page. I'm only looking for functionality problems here.
Thanks, and thanks to our donors who've made this a lot easier!

There Is Some Buggyness With The Favorites
Hey Subway Map Users
So, in the migration from V1 to V2 of the Google Map API last month, looks like I created some bugs in the favorites system. One manifestation of this was adding searched addresses suddenly stopped working. I think that is basically working now, but I saw some other problems while working on it, like the list of favorites not updating itself after editing. Then looking into that at the code I think I spotted some internal conflicts.
Please be patient, I will dig into this tonight. This is high priority. Hopefully things will be patched sometime Thursday Dec 7th.
